Brahma Video Productions Control Room and Classroom

The control room is the heart of Brahma Video Productions (BVP) newscast operations and also serves as our classroom space. In this multifunctional environment, students manage video production using the vMix system, learn journalism, research for The Herd (our school newspaper), and produce news broadcasts.

Students work with an XLR audio setup and HDMI video connections, with plans in place to transition to NDI for a more efficient, network-based workflow. The room is equipped with multiple Macs where students create graphics, write scripts, and make real-time adjustments for seamless broadcasts. This space fosters a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, encouraging both technical proficiency and journalistic skill. It is where technical work and journalistic education come together, preparing students for careers in media production and journalism.

Our Green Screen Studio is a versatile and essential part of Brahma Video Productions, offering students a professional-grade environment to create dynamic video content. While compact, the studio is fully equipped for high-quality production, making it an ideal space for a wide variety of media projects. The studio features a vibrant green backdrop, perfect for digital set design and immersive effects, allowing students to create anything from virtual environments to product demonstrations with ease.

The space is outfitted with carefully placed lighting and camera equipment, ensuring the studio is optimized for both visual clarity and creative flexibility. The attached teleprompter ensures seamless script delivery, supporting smooth and polished productions. Whether it’s for student-led projects, special segments for The Herd news, or dynamic video lessons, this studio empowers students to experiment with green screen technology and enhance their storytelling capabilities.
