Certifications

At the Bellville Learning Center, we offer students the chance to earn industry-recognized certifications that showcase their skills in digital media, design, and broadcasting. Some certifications are taught through structured classroom instruction, while others are available for motivated students to pursue independently through self-study. Each certification listed below includes a brief description and a direct link to its official requirements.  Below are the certifications available to students.  Click any of the images below to see a list of certification criteria.

These certifications are taught as part of regular classroom instruction.

NOCTI Broadcasting & Journalism

Measures real-world knowledge and skills in news production, reporting, audio/video editing, and broadcast operations.  (Offered in structured class format.)

Adobe Photoshop

Validates skills in image editing, compositing, and digital design using Adobe Photoshop.  (Offered in structured class format.)

Adobe Illustrator

Proves proficiency in creating vector graphics, illustrations, and typography using Adobe Illustrator.  (Offered in structured class format.)

Available Through Self-Study

Students may prepare for these certifications independently with guidance and resources available upon request.

Adobe InDesign

Demonstrates ability to design and publish professional layouts for print and digital media using Adobe InDesign.  (Available through self-study.)

Adobe Animate

Certifies skills in creating interactive animations and multimedia content using Adobe Animate.  (Available through self-study.)

Adobe After Effects

Certifies expertise in motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects for dynamic video content.  (Available through self-study.)

Adobe Premiere Pro

Demonstrates professional video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, from timeline editing to final export.  (Available through self-study.)
